Welcome to my little slice of the internet. I'm Kristi Woods, an actor and vocalist based in Toronto. I’ve been lucky enough to perform on some pretty iconic stages: The Elgin Theatre, The Princess of Wales, Koerner Hall, The Sony Centre, The St. Lawrence Centre, Casino Niagara—and even Carnegie Hall in New York (still kind of pinching myself about that one). I’ve shared the stage with artists like Steven Page, Josh Groban, Jonathan Antoine, and Sarah Brightman, and every one of those moments has helped shape who I am as a performer. I’m a proud CAEA and ACTRA member, my work spans musicals, straight plays, and film/TV. I launched my professional career in 2019 - right before the world hit pause. Since then, I have played Jennie Malone in Chapter Two at Stage West—a role that earned me a Calgary Theatre Critics nomination for Outstanding Leading Actor in a Comedy. I also rocked out in Rock of Ages at The Elgin, a high-energy production that snagged eight Dora nominations, including Outstanding Production. But I’m not just about what happens onstage. I’m also a mom, a wife, a baker, a camper, a crocheter, a caffeinator, and someone who happily welcomes dogs into my home when their humans are away. All of that real life feeds my work. It keeps me grounded, curious, and open. I’m drawn to stories that leave something behind—ones that connect, challenge, and spark something real. And I’m always on the lookout for the next great role.
